So, if you're reading this Lovretta fam, i'm hoping you got the balloonagram and haven't just randomly picked now, of all times, to check our blog! because if so, you just got quite the shock.
Turns out Elle is 2 for 2. Somebody hire that kid out, she's got talent.
In short - we pulled a fast one on you guys (I was fibbing when I said our ultrasound wasn't for a few weeks) but, in a bit of "elopement deja vu", we have recorded a message to explain all. Since you couldn't be here on the sonogram day to hear the Big News, and a phonecall felt anticlimactic, we wanted to try and find some small way to make the gender announcement special for you all the same. Hope mission was accomplished.

BTW - her first name will be either Harper, or Tennyson -- based on two of our favorite writers. I told Chris I'd have to see the baby in the flesh to "know" which one she is (I feel like Tennyson/Sunny is more of a blonde, Harper a brunette); he told me I'm lucky I found a man who doesn't mind crazy women. I ain't arguing...
